What is a Guidance Call?

The freelance road is a solo one in most aspects. In my early years of freelancing, I experienced this a lot - and all I really needed was someone to talk to. I created these Guidance Calls for freelancers who have questions, and need someone with experience to answer them. I’m here to understand where you need clarity and provide it to you.

It’s simple: pick a date and time that works for you, send me your topics of choice by questionnaire, and cozy up with your fav beverage for our session!

1:1 Guidance Call

$125 | 1 .5 hours

This is an hour and a half of whatever you need guidance on. These calls have been an inspirational tool for a lot of freelancers who needed clarity and a confidence boost. A video recording will be sent to you at the end of our call, along with some resources to help you along the way.

  • Creatives that need guidance about freelancing, and want answers quickly.

  • • An hour and a half to discuss freelance topics of your choice

    • A pre-call questionnaire so I can prepare for our call

    • My personal reference list of books, programs, and supplies

    • Full recording of our session for future reference

How it works

  • Book a Guidance Call

    First thing’s first! Book your call. Pick a date and time that works for you. I’ll be doing a happy dance when I see the notification come through! I can’t wait to connect with you and provide guidance!

  • Pick Your Topics

    After you book a Guidance Call, you will receive a questionnaire to fill out. This is your chance to choose what topics you would like to discuss during our call and elaborate on anything else you have questions about. Based on your answers, I’ll put together notes for our call!

  • The Day Of

    The day of your guidance call, I will have a list of notes and topics that cover all the questions you have about freelancing. I make sure to keep it very casual, but also informative and moving along so I have time to cover all of the topics you want to discuss!

  • Shoot for the Stars

    During our meeting, I will record our session so you have a copy of our talk after we are done. This will allow you to reflect on our call at any point! You will also receive a list of my personal resources for my own business, helping you along the way.

FAQs

  • I will send you a questionnaire prior to our guidance call that will help me understand what you specifically need guidance on. I make sure to be prepared prior to our call so no time is wasted, and so you get the most out of our time together.

  • These calls are all done online via google meets! Often times we will share screens so this is the most productive way to communicate with each other for these sessions. If you are more comfortable with a phone call for the guidance calls, that works also!

  • Everyone starts somewhere. The more you allow yourself to be curious, ask questions and build your knowledge, the faster you will get to where you want to be. If there was one piece of advice I could have given myself at the beginning of my freelance journey, it would have been to talk to a professional that has been doing this for a long time - so I could learn more early on instead of learning the hard way. So congrats on starting here! You’re in the right place!
